KAS was founded in 1981 by Rao Yarlagadda and his wife Kas, the namesake of the company. Together, they started KAS as a small importer selling Indian Dhurries and quickly became known as a forerunner in color and design trends. Today, KAS carries over 70 collections of handmade and machine-made rugs, including 7 indoor/outdoor collections.
