Amazing Experience Purchasing Outdoor Furniture at Bay Breeze Patio

At Bay Breeze Patio, we aim to provide exceptional service and share our expertise in outdoor furniture and design to help our clients create their outdoor dreams.

We recently partnered with a client to furnish the outdoor spaces of her vacation home in WaterSound. Each outdoor space had a different need. From the screened-in porch to seating around the outdoor pool to outdoor dining, we enjoyed working with our client, Kristin, to select the best outdoor furniture for her patio, pool deck and porches. Recycled Composite Outdoor Furniture

Designed for harsh coastal conditions, composite furniture is sustainable and long-lasting. With several brands on the market, finding the one you like the best is the hardest part. POLYWOOD is made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene), a durable plastic that is widely used in milk jugs, resulting in millions of landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastics transformed into POLYWOOD lumber each year. Also offering HDPE polymer furniture, Seaside Casual furniture is made from Envirowood, an all-weather marine grade recycled HDPE polymer – the kind found in milk jugs. The furniture is essentially maintenance-free. HDPE material is non-porous and resistant to moisture and fading. It’s built to repel insects, splinting, warping and other hazards of environmental exposure common to wood and wood fiber composite products.

Pantone’s 2020 Color of the Year Provides Inspiration for Your Patio

Many look to PANTONE for the Color of the Year but there are many companies involved in design and fashion that have their own predictions for the 2019 Color of the Year. Marcia Blake, a leading authority on home décor and merchandising manager for Sunbrella fabrics, will present an accredited continuing education course on Design Using Color Theory, Textiles & Light to Create Healthful Lifestyle Settings for professional interior designers and anyone interested in color and design. The seminar will be held at Bay Breeze Patio in Miramar Beach across from Seascape on July 11 at 10 a.m.

During her presentation, “Design Using Textiles & Light to Create Healthful Lifestyle Settings,” Blake will discuss how design can be influenced by fabrics and light. Outdoor fabrics, such as the Sunbrella brand, have changed dramatically in look and feel over the past several years. The goal of the presentation is to help interior designers gain a better understanding of how design can be influenced by color, fabric and light and to show what is possible both inside and outside of the home.

The one-hour course carries a CEU value of 0.1 and has been accredited by the IDCEC Interior Design Continuing Education Council for Members of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), IDC (Interior Designers of Canada) and IIDA (International Interior Design Association).

For the last decade, Bay Breeze Patio has been helping families create the most attractive, functional and long-lasting outdoor living spaces in Destin, along Hwy 30A and beyond.
